Linking Photographers & Ideas
After observing artists on Pinterest, I found some photos which make direct links to my own photos taken around the school in attempt to experiment with different viewpoints
With my image on the right, I wanted to disorientate the face and blend it with the surroundings. I achieved this by facing a shield of glass and altering the model's positions so as she was seen and my reflection was not captured. The image on the left by Seung Hwan Oh, titled "Impermanence" also shows the same elements as he has disarrayed the persons face however not in the same way. Clearly the face has been smudged with a form of liquid or technique by Seung Hwan Oh. |
Similarly to the first set of photos, I again took architecture but from a different viewpoint. This time I created the image to the right by lying down on the ground and seeing the concrete benches from a low perspective. However despite the fact Lee Friedlander has taken his photo from a front on and average perspective, I was inspired by the use of black and white to enhance the dark tones of the shadows which I also tried to capture. |
