Christopher Nunn
Christopher Nunn is a Yorkshire based photographer who is currently working on personal projects throughout the UK and Europe specifically Ukraine. He has completed a project titled "Edith" which I used as inspiration to help my develop my photoshop skills. Edith was a hoarder, compulsive spender and dedicated churchgoer. These images were shot in Edith's flat after her death during the process of clearing out her possessions.

I then took one photo out of the project and put it into photoshop to see how I could change the meaning or perspective of the central focus point. Using the television, I then found an image off the internet which I thought might tie in well with "Edith". I came up with an image of vintage flowers as flowers are usually found in homes and Edith also appeared to have a vase herself. I then decided where I would edit the flowers into the TV. Using the crop tool on photoshop, I created a second layer for the background so as not to change the raw image, and then cut out the centre of the television screen. I then placed the vintage flowers behind into the background and stretched out the photo so as instead of having a dead and lifeless TV, there was a new element and a new meaning to the picture.
